In good condition, raised boards and gilt work on spine are slightly faded, but still beautifully crafted. Original maroon label. Spine has abrasions on top and bottom. Boards are slightly split from spine making it rather fragile, still sturdy to handle. Marbled paper is still bright and clear, charming pen work of a child from 300 years ago. scribbles of what appears to be a boat and script practice. Very sweet. Please see photos. A book of French law including ordinances, declarations arrests in Paris. Perfect for a scholar of law in the early 18th c. COLH1723AEFA.
