Codex Luporum - Skirtos: Blood of the Wolf and the Fall of a Roman Legion

Born in the heart of a mountain blizzard, under the gaze of the White She-Wolf, a child enters the world marked by an ancient sign.

Among the Dacians, the wolf is more than a creature—it is law, judge, and guardian of the passage between life and death. Those touched by its blood are set apart.

His name is Skirtos.

Raised in the Carpathian Mountains, he becomes a warrior shaped by harsh lands, tribal codes, and constant war. But his path is violently broken when he is taken captive and dragged into the heart of Rome.

There, he is forced into the brutal world of the arena.

As a gladiator, Skirtos learns to survive under the gaze of thousands, to read men before they strike, and to endure pain without surrender. Each fight carves something deeper into him—discipline, instinct, and a growing understanding of the power that rules empires.

Yet the arena is only the beginning.

Drawn beyond the sands of the Colosseum, Skirtos enters the machinery of Rome itself—its legions, its discipline, its hidden weaknesses. What he learns there will not remain in Rome.

It will return with him.

Between two worlds—Dacia and Rome—Skirtos walks a path marked by blood, loyalty, and inevitable confrontation. His story unfolds against the backdrop of one of the most violent clashes of the ancient world, where a single man may carry the weight of something far greater than his own life.

The Blood of the Wolf and the Fall of a Roman Legion is a story of survival, transformation, and war—where instinct becomes weapon, and destiny takes form in the shadow of the wolf.
