What if the developers who master AI-assisted software engineering today become the highest-performing engineers of the next decade?
The software industry is undergoing its biggest transformation since the rise of cloud computing, and developers who understand how to work with AI coding systems are gaining an enormous advantage. AI Coding with Claude Code
is a practical, hands-on guide that shows you how to design, build, automate, secure, and deploy modern software systems using AI-powered development workflows.
This book goes far beyond basic prompting or simple code generation. You will learn how professional engineers use Claude Code and modern AI tooling to accelerate real-world software development while maintaining performance, reliability, scalability, and security. From intelligent coding workflows and automated debugging to production deployment, orchestration systems, AI-powered automation, retrieval pipelines, and autonomous engineering agents, this book teaches the complete workflow behind modern AI-assisted development.
Every chapter focuses on practical implementation with clear explanations, production-oriented strategies, and fully working examples designed to help you build real systems instead of toy projects. Whether you are creating APIs, automating workflows, deploying scalable applications, migrating large codebases, or building AI-powered developer tools, this book provides the technical foundation needed to work effectively in the new era of software engineering.
Inside this book, you will learn how to:
-
Use Claude Code to accelerate software development workflows
-
Build intelligent automation systems and AI-powered tools
-
Create scalable APIs and production-ready applications
-
Implement testing, validation, and security guardrails
-
Design orchestration pipelines and autonomous agent systems
-
Work with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and vector databases
-
Deploy AI-assisted systems using Docker, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure
-
Understand the limitations, risks, and future of AI coding systems
-
Develop the modern engineering skills companies increasingly demand
Unlike many AI programming books that focus only on theory or superficial examples, this book emphasizes professional-grade implementation, real engineering workflows, and practical production systems. It bridges the gap between traditional software engineering and the rapidly evolving world of AI-assisted development.
Whether you are a software engineer, backend developer, DevOps engineer, AI enthusiast, technical founder, computer science student, or experienced programmer looking to future-proof your career, this book will help you understand how AI is reshaping modern software development and how you can stay ahead of the curve.
The future of programming is not less engineering. It is smarter engineering powered by intelligent systems.
Start building the next generation of software today.

Store description
We first started out as “The Paperback Exchange,” a chain of physical bookstores where we would part exchange your beloved books for new stories to transport you to faraway places. However, as shopping started to evolve to online shops and marketplaces, we bid our stores goodbye to become “PBShop.” This transition has only allowed us to blossom as we now ship thousands of titles to book lovers across the globe. We pride ourselves in being a community of local book lovers which allows our passion and devotion to shine in everything we do. In 2020 we not only celebrated our 20th birthday but our 1st birthday as being completely employee owned after becoming an E.O.T in September 2019. We are proud to be different and embrace standing apart on a book mountain by working from a virtual inventory which allows us to provide thousands of books that may be difficult to get for your bookshelf or your studies. Working with a number of different suppliers allows us to explore other avenues such as puzzles, sheet music and even stationery so we really do have something for everyone. Life is about being versatile in all realms of existence. If this is your first visit or you are a returning customer, we would like to welcome you to the PBShop family, for there is no friend as loyal as a book. We are a company who put our customers at the centre of everything we do as we understand the importance of reading because once you learn to read, you will forever be free. There are a whole lot of things in this world of ours that we are yet to explore, which is why we will forever inspire curious minds.…
