The book ""Col. Marinus Willett, The Hero Of Mohawk Valley: An Address Before The Oneida Historical Society"" by Daniel E. Wager is a historical account of the life and achievements of Colonel Marinus Willett. Colonel Willett was a prominent figure in the American Revolution and played a significant role in the defense of the Mohawk Valley against British and Native American forces. The book provides a detailed overview of Willett's military career, including his involvement in the battles of Fort Stanwix, Oriskany, and Johnstown. It also explores his political career, serving as a member of the New York State Assembly and as mayor of New York City. The book is based on an address given by Wager before the Oneida Historical Society and provides a comprehensive and informative account of the life and legacy of this important historical figure. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
