About the Author

Mortgage broker, house renovator, lecturer and author, Bret Parsons spent eighteen years in the architecture and design industry, much of the time in the executive suite at Pacific Design Center in Los Angeles. He co-published three design books, wrote a monthly architecture and design column, and was often quoted in the Los Angeles Times, L.A.Times Magazine, Daily News, Washington Post and Dallas Morning News.
