Blue cloth binding, with a preface by Philippe Soupault. Illustrated throughout with color reproductions of Jacques Prévert’s collage work. The dust jacket is near fine and shows light edge wear. Widely regarded as one of the most comprehensive publications devoted to Prévert’s visual art. Closely associated with Surrealist circles, Prévert brought the same collage-like sensibility found in his poetry to his visual work, making this volume an essential companion to his literary oeuvre. The book is in French.
