Two octavo volumes (24cm); black cloth-covered boards with titles stamped in gilt on spines; dustjackets; xiv,[2],3-408,[2]pp; viii,[2],3-374,[2]pp. Previous owners' names neatly inked to upper front endpaper on both volumes. Volume I has light shelf-wear, with modest rubbing to spine ends, and trace shelf-soil to edges of textblock; Very Good. Volume I dustwrapper, unclipped (priced $7.50), spine-faded, with trivial surface wear and rubbing, and tiny tears to spine panel edges and wrapper extremities; Very Good. Volume II has light shelf-wear, with soil to edges of textblock; Very Good. Volume II dustwrapper, unclipped (priced $7.50), spine-faded, with light shelf-wear and rubbing, 1" horizontal tear to front panel, 1.5" tear to lower rear flap, 0.5" tear to rear spine fold, and tiny tears to spine panel edges; Good.
