Very good but for dampstain mottling to back cover and bumped extremities, in edgeworn jacket with chipping and soil. Tipped ( glued ) to front pastedown and front endpaper are 2 envelopes. One contains a typed letter signed by Muir to Pauline Niven, relating to his winning the Niven Award for the most distinguished book by a Scot, and a letter from B. K. Sandwell, alluding to the same. There are also press cuttings from British papers. An interesting association copy.
