Item description from seller

Pp. 450; numerous full page photo-plates and detailed anatomical text-figures. Early tan cloth, lettered in black on the spine, (original printed blue wrappers bound in at rear), 8vo. Presents ten papers on Tarsius, Hapale (=Callithrix), Tupaia, and Ptilocercus from the Proceedings of the Zoological Society of London for 1919, 1921, 1924, 1925, 1926, and 1927. The three largest papers are: Wollard - The Anatomy of Tarsius spectrum (111 pages, 1925); Le Gros Clark - On the Anatomy of the Pen-tailed Tree-Shrew, Ptilocercus lowii (130 pages, 1927); and Beattie - The Anatomy of the Common Marmoset, Hapale jacchus (124 pages, 1927). From the personal library of British anatomist and zoologist Baron Solly Zuckerman with his signature on the front endpaper.
