No printing history, no indication of what edition or what printing this is. 8-1/4" tall, 607 numbered pages; there are no illustrations. Covered in one-piece dark green pebbled binding, front board is elaborately decorated with tan flowers and vines, rear board is plain; plain ivory colored end pages; fore edge is trimmed; it is one of at least 23 titles (that is how many that I have) in a matched set. Book is in respectable condition: exterior is reasonably clean (there are some ink marks on the tan coating); it is square, hinges tight; all four corners are very lightly bumped and have slight color loss; no edge dings; head of spine lightly bumped with light wear at both gutter ridges; heel of spine has light wear with color loss at both gutter ridges; light wear with some color loss along front gutter ridge; bottom edges have virtually no wear; bottom edge of front board has 1/4" tear in fabric. Interior is spotlessly clean and completely unmarked; pages are tight and clean with no marks; no page corners folded or damaged; hinges quite strong and tight; spine undamaged; no staining or discoloration of text pages; FFEP has remnant of a book plate; both FFEP and RFEP heavily toned within 1-1/2" of spine from the manufacturer's glue; text pages lightly toned. No distortion of the book from reading or improper shelving; no remainder mark, not book club edition nor ex-library. Condition of book consistent with perhaps being gently read. No other discernible or objectionable faults on book such as marks or writing within, stains, tears, chips, or other damage that would diminish its appearance.
