Covered in one-piece dark green pebbled binding, front board is elaborately decorated with tan flowers and vines, rear board is plain; plain ivory colored end pages; fore edge is trimmed; it is one of at least 23 titles (that is how many that I have) in a matched set. Book is in quite respectable condition: exterior is reasonably clean (there are a few ink marks on the tan coating); it is square, hinges tight; all four corners are not bumped but are very lightly worn with slight color loss; no edge dings; heel of spine lightly creased with some color loss at both gutter ridges but otherwise undamaged; head of spine has light wear; bottom edges have little wear; hinges very tight and not damaged in any fashion. Interior is spotlessly clean and completely unmarked; pages are tight and clean with no marks; no page corners folded or damaged; hinges quite strong and tight; spine undamaged; no staining or discoloration of text pages; paper is lightly toned and still very flexible. No distortion of the book from reading or improper shelving; no remainder mark, not book club edition nor ex-library. Condition of book consistent with perhaps being gently read. No other discernible or objectionable faults on book such as marks or writing within, stains, tears, chips, or other damage that would diminish its appearance.
