Complete set of this comprehensive collection of the Works of Julian Fane. Each volume contains 3 or 4 novels. This is the authors own set in a beautiful full leather binding, all edges gilt, marbled endpapers, gilt inner dentelles. Backstrips of the first 5 volumes show some fading. Bindings are not signed but are probably by Sangorski & Sutcliffe as evidenced by a card with Fanes letterhead and the handwritten note „Sangorski & Sutcliffe“ in volume 1. This is a very interesting edition in a unique binding.
