Collated complete. Written by R. Baker. Rudiments of the Art of Constructing and Repairing Common Roads, 1850. Illustrated with numerous in-text figures. Written by Henry Law. To which is prefixed a general survey of the principal metropolitan roads by S. Hughes. Rudimentary Treatise on Agricultural Engineering, 1852. Illustrated with numerous in-text figures. Being volume two of Motive Powers and Machinery of the Steading. Written by G. H. Andrews. In the original green cloth binding. Externally, sound with rubbing and light bumping to the extremities. Marks to the boards with tide marks to the title label of volume one. Light fading to the spine with fraying to the extremities. Splits to the rear joint of volume one and both joints of volume three with a sticker to the tail of the spine. Hinges starting but firm with front hinge failed to volume three and the spine lifting from the text block. The title page to page 2 are detached but present to volume three. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd small spot or handling mark. Small closed tears to the page edges of volume three. Contemporary ink inscriptions to the endpapers and pastedowns. With an ink stamp and blind stamp to the title page of volume three. Good.…
