Pp. (iii), 191, xv. Original pale green wrappers, lettered in black on the front cover, thick 4to. Discomycetes are a group of fungi in the class Ascomycetes in which the surface of the fruiting body is exposed during maturation of the spores (from Wiki). This volume is from the private research collection of University of Michigan mycologist Alexander H. Smith. Top rear outer corner is bumped extending into the volume for 45 pages, a clean copy in very good condition.
