Embossed leather. Front cover missing as well as right bottom �" of spine. Pages soiled, water stained, mildewed and rippled. Pages very delicate but still easily opened. Two brass clamps on back cover. Assume original cover had hinges to snap closed. Still a treasure to behold for it's age.
