First editions, offprints. In early 20th century half cloth, publisher s blank, grey wrappers bound into. Four works are inscribed by the author to Julius Petersen in Frech. From the collection of Manó (Emanuel) Beke. Eleven early papers by the Swedish mathematician Ivar Otto Bendixson (1861 1935), best known for his prove of the Poincaré Bendixson theorem. Four of the papers are inscribed to the Danish mathematician Julius Petersen (1839 1910).
