This is a collection of five stories written with single consonants, blends, and short vowels. The first two stories are written with the *Dolch phonetic sight words. Stories three, four, and five incorporate other short vowel words with blends. Each story has a list of vocabulary words at the beginning as well as questions to answer at the end.

About the Author

Gloria Torres and Theresa Torres are high school twins who love to write and draw. Mark Torres is in college. He enjoys the arts and sciences and inventing. They all play soccer and live in Los Alamos, New Mexico.
