The first part of this collection comprises captioned and uncaptioned images: (1/10) 10 photographs 8 of which are captioned on rear. Among them is a group photo of 5 relatively elderly women.Two are standing and three seated. The names and dates of birth and ages at death of each woman are in pencil on rear of image as follows: "84 Elizabeth Patton 1846-1930; 82 Jessie Macken (?) 1848-1930; 76 Ellen Hamilton 1850-1926; 84 Mammie Patton 1852-1938; 90 Emily Ardagh (?) 1862-1953. Other images are of Hester Oct 8 .1912 in wedding dress; another is of a man and a woman standing dated Oct 8 1912; then there is Jean 7 months May 1825; Next photo is of mother 2 years old taken by Dorothy; A photo of a child wth a lady is of Diana July 15 1934 in the Robe; next is Greetings from the trio with two women and a man standing in a pleasant garden setting near what looks like quite a largehouse; Three women seated on grass wearing head bonnets namesare initialed on rear; there is another image of two of these women; the final image is of the church and tower at Swords, Co.Dublin. (11/25) A further 15 uncaptioned images include group, pairs and individual ptotographs of other family members, relations, friends as well as some of the same people in the first batch of images. (26/52) A further 27 more images circa 1950's/60's (?) are primarily of two women on holiday in Europe, possibly France (?) These appear to be relations of the people in the earlier photos. There are negatives of themore modern images also included in original pack. Would benefit from further research. The images are generally small ranging from about 7 x 4cms. to about 11 x 8cms.
