8.5 x 5.75", printed green cloth boards, 147pp plus ads. Minor toning to pages, scuffing to covers, occasional hint of staining to pages, some pencil annotations to recipes. A nice copy. Scarce cookbook by a temperance supporting ladies' aid society, with "all recipes containing wine or brandy having been conscientiously excluded," according to the introduction. Recipes are attributed, and include cooked eels and pineapple pudding. There is also a two page chapter of instructions for doing the laundry, as well as a chapter of "Facts Worth Knowing.".
