Some are captioned in writing or in print. Among the images and items, on the first album are St.Patrick's, Bray, Co.Wicklow; Stockgrove Park, Leighton Buzzard; a house called Maremalan 214 Alexander Road, Acocks Green, Birmingham. There's a war time (March 1941) typed letter to Mrs. R. Senior 18, Anhalt Road, Battersea Park, London, S.W. 11 Deputy Regional Nursing Office at the Ministry of Health regarding work as full time Shelter Nurse; a Catholic religious card from Aunt Kitty at the Dunsford Mission in June 1958 to Wee George; A business card of J. Hooofien General Manager The Anglo Palestine Co.Ltd, Jaffa; coast guard houses Ballyhornan, Co. Down. The photos in the first and third album are all removable They are pasted into the second album which has views and people in France including Paris, Ireland with people in a very fancy open back car circa early C20th; Among the photos is one wholooks very like Douglas Hyde Irish academic, linguist, scholar of the Irish language, politician and diplomat who served as the first President of Ireland from June 1938 to June 1945; some military personnel, children, young people, a procession in Ulster - possibly Belfast; Hyde again - this time in Kerr with a tall thin moustached man who I vaguely recognise at a small boat with a fisherman and a lot more. Among the images in the third and final album is part of Coons Cave, Giant's Causeway, Co.Antrim; Egyptian scenes in Alexandria and elsewhere; a number of the photos are of people on the front of postcards including the Winslet family; two postcard photos are of a child - Muriel Baron of Blackburn and Kathleen to her sister Eva - this photo card taken by Charles & Russell, Belfast. There's an old photo of a large detached house at 218 Hinckley Road & more. Imaged rangein size from 2 x 1.5" x 7.5.5" approx. The majority between these sizes and quite a number postcard size.
