Collection of three original printed documents, a letter, price list, and book list. Letter and book list printed in black ink on beige paper. Price list printed in black ink on blue paper. Price list and book list are stapled together in upper-left corner. Letter is dated 1939. The other two documents are undated, circa 1939. Price list: 8 1/2" x 5." Letter and book list: 8 1/2" x 11." Six pages (letter and price list, one page; book list, four pages). Documents are very clean and intact except for a horizontal fold line at center on letter and book list, slight wrinkling, slight age toning, and some rubbing on back. Very Good copies. Three documents relating to the Sutro Library Project. In the letter, Project Supervisor A. Yedidia introduces some of the members of the Sutro Library Associates who are acting as an advisory committee for the project. Facsimile signature of Yedidia at the bottom of letter. Price list is brief (about eleven lines of text) and lists the prices of different series within the Sutro Library Project publications. The book list names books and respective prices and is an expansion on the price list stapled to the front; the book list names each of the books within the series named on the price list. The heading on the book list is "Publications of the Sutro Library Project, Occasional Papers." The publications series within the Sutro Library Project (named on both the price list and book list) are the "Reprint Series," "English Series," "Mexican History Series," "Bibliographical Series," "Manuscript Series," and "Catalogues." A few additional series are named on the price list but not on the book list.
