Bound in quarter calf with the original card wraps bound in. Externally, sound with rubbing and bumping to the extremities. Light fading to the spines with the odd small mark to the boards. Minor loss to the head and tail of the spines or the leather to the boards of the odd volume. Cracking to the joints on volume I, VII, VIII, XIII, XVI, XVII, and XVIII. Hinges starting but firm to volume II. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with light scattered spotting and the odd handling mark. Light age toning to the endpapers. Good.
