The item is titled: "A List of what I do during the day. Written in a neat hand on both sides of Halston Bros. letter headed notepaper; (4/14) A variety of material spanning the period 27the March, 1925 - 19, November, 1926 including: Typed correspondence from Halston Bros to staff regarding staff grievances and indicating a willingness to meet with individual members or groups of staff; 5 & 8 small note book size pages of notes by a trade union member concerning issues around some blacklisted shops as well as issues in the retail trade; further typed correspondence to staff in repsonse to the strike dragging on; 4 pp ofmss.notes re a meeting calledby the business which theyhad no right to call; correspondenc from the Irish National Union of Vitners, Grocers and Allied Trades Assistants from the strike committee inviting all staff of Carton Bros. to a meeting at Banba Hall, Dublin to freely express their views on the question of supplying houses stafed by scabs and blacklegs & related items.
