Les dessins, gravures et livres précieux rassemblés par Victor Arwas (1937-2010) durant toute sa carrière sont mis en dépôt à Namur par sa veuve, Gretha, qui a continué loeuvre de son mari via leur galerie londonienne, la Victor Arwas Gallery. Dès 1972, Victor a commencé à exposer dans des musées et galeries sa propre collection de Rops et à écrire des textes pour des catalogues (Rotterdam 2005, Danemark 2008). A de nombreuses reprises, le musée a fait appel à sa galerie pour enrichir ses propres expositions temporaires thématiques ou encore des expositions à l?étranger (Québec, Japon, Europe). Ces collaborations régulières ont amené une confiance et une estime réciproques. Une sélection de 130 oeuvres sur les 550 collectionnées par Victor Arwas au fil des opportunités et des années, vous est présentée à travers cette exposition organisée pour célébrer cet événement. « Collectionner. Books are offered if unsold. The order of incoming orders will be respected strictly.
The books that are offered online are not available at our bookshop at 48 Kloosterstraat.
You will receive an e-mail confirming the availability of the book(s) and providing details with regard to shipment costs (we use Belgian and Dutch postal companies for the most cost-effective shipments.
The indicated shipment costs have been calculated according to the rates for shipments of up to 2 kilo. We will choose the most cost-effective shipment option, depending on the weight: either letter post or parcel post.
