The roles of museums and international institutions have become ever more important in this respect. About the Author

Claire Derriks is Curator Emeritus at the Royal Museum of Mariemont, Belgium and professor at the Royal Institute for History of Art and Archaeology, Brussels. Luc Delvaux is Curator Dynastic and Greco-Roman Egypt, Royal Museums of Art and History, Brussels. He also serves as Secretary-general of the Association Egyptologique Reine Elisabeth, Brussels.
