Three volume set, re-cased in cloth with new endpapers. Neatly re-cased in a custom made slip case. Corrigenda slip and advertising leaf at end of first volume. Volume three with partially hand coloured plate, some spotting to plate and title page as shown, only minimal spotting to other title pages in the other two volumes. Small Birmingham Medical Institute stamp on title pages of vols one and two. This is one of few works by Parry, edited posthumously by his son and including the rare third volume 'Introductory Essays by Charles Henry Parry'. Parry is known for his work on angina pectoris and particularly, exophthalmic goitre. Pages are as follows.Vol 1:(iv), 590(2), Vol 2: iv, 587, Vol 3: (iv), xxxvi, 243. Pages generally clean.
