Collector's Guide To Yellow Ware, An Identification & Value Guide

Yellow ware was produced for over a century and played an important part in pottery history. Its popularity on the collector's market has brought about much new information in recent years. Lisa McAllister reveals the latest knowledge and introduces pieces that have never been in print before in her all-new Collector's Guide to Yellow Ware. There are over 300 full-color photos, with descriptions, sizes, and current values. The pieces are categorized by type, demonstrating that yellow ware wasn't just utilitarian kitchen ware. Besides the bowls, plates, pitchers, and storage crocks, there are inkwells, banks, animal figures, and much more! There's also an informative section on the potters and their marks, a glossary, and a bibliography. 2003 values.

In 1992 Lisa McAllister co-authored her first volume of the Collector's Guide to Yellow Ware with John Michel. That book has been brought back into print with updated information and current market values. She has also produced two more volumes on her own in that series, as well as the Collector's Guide to Feather Edge Ware.
