There are many high quality pictures and medical illustrations, bullet points on the surgical approach, short summaries on recovery and complications, and reviews of current literature at the end of every chapter. An accompanying ebook replicates the print version.

The purpose it to instruct and serve as a reference on all commonly performed intra-abdominal procedures. The book meets the objectives beautifully, and is a spectacular surgical atlas of contemporary abdominal colorectal surgery.
