The Colonial Records of North Carolina, Vol. 2: Published Under the Supervision of the Trustees of the Public Libraries, by Order of the General Assembly; 1713 to 1728 (Classic Reprint)

This book contains official accounts documenting the lives of settlers in the North Carolina colony during a pivotal era. Its pages present insights into the colony's administrative, economic, political, and social challenges during the period of the Lords Proprietors, a group of English aristocrats who exerted significant influence over the region at the time. The text offers a valuable window into the daily lives, concerns, and motivations of North Carolinians during the early 18th century, with meticulous records of meetings, laws, and events that shaped their experiences. Through these records, the author provides a rich tapestry of colonial life, revealing the complex interplay between settlers, Native American tribes, and the British Crown.
