8vo (imperial). Printed paper covered boards, with Art Nouveau-style design. Unpaginated. Deckled edges. Some light rubbing to covers and extremities. Offsetting from illustrations to interior. Laid-in pamphlet of Recent Accessions to the Collection of Graphic Arts, Prints, December 1931. A beautiful collection of entries on book history, including the illustrations of Weems's Washington, biography and bibliography, the first editor of Shakespeare, modern firsts, forger Herr von Gerstenbergk, and the origins of publisher's cloth bindings by John Carter. Each section is designed and printed in a distinctive manner, and the section on the First Editor of Shakespeare is printed on light green paper.
