Color Atlas Of Microsurgical Anatomy Surgical Flaps Of The Limbs

This comprehensive and extremely well-illustrated guide, which includes hundreds of digital photographs in full color (using fresh cadavers with gelatin enhancement), covers microsurgical skin flap transposition techniques from the most basic to the most advanced. It begins by describing the types of flaps, cephalocevical flaps (including forehead flaps, occipital facial flaps and palatum flaps), flaps based on the trunk, upper and lower limb flaps, neurocutaneous flaps and perforator flaps. Throughout the authors give tips on improving the chances of survival of the graft, and techniques to make the surgery proceed efficiently and safely. The result works well as a professional reference as well as a text, and the index is very helpful.
