Each of the 114 color plates in this book describes the car in detail. Also included are 15 pages of models and scales, assembly kits, crafts and hobbies, automobiles, and models. Edoardo Massucci has joined a penetrating text to a collection of beautiful color pictures, and he has chosen to illustrate the history of the automobile through the medium of models. In this form the book has the advantages of a historical perspective, and may also bring to the hobby some converts who had not previously realized the pleasure of looking at today's beautiful model automobiles. He has, in fact, written the book that any fellow collector and enthusiast would be proud to write. There is a very slight ripple on the top of the cover but this book is still in EXCELLENT condition. No collection of books on vintage cars and models is complete without this one. 64 pp.
