Colorado looms large in our minds---where the western prairie terminates on the eastern flank of the mighty Rocky Mountains---endless landscapes, infinite blue skies, and superlative mountain ranges that have inspired everyone who's lived in, hiked, or even just seen them. From the impossibly jagged peaks and sparkling waters of the Front Range to the long, golden grasses of the eastern plains, this tour of Colorado will dazzle you.

 The towering heights of the Fourteeners, those Rocky Mountain peaks with elevations over fourteen thousand feet in height to the short-grass prairies and the sand dunes of the east and southern parts of the state, Colorado is a rich tapestry of scenery and landscapes.

David Muench is a master professional photographer with more than 50 books, countless exhibits, magazine articles, and image merely point to his life work in large-format photography which has become a benchmark in American landscape photography. Colorado is one of David’s favorite places to photograph the American landscape. David lives near Albuquerque, NM.

 Marc Muench, David’s son, has established his own right in the field of landscape photography. He has a number of book titles to his credit, and shares credits with his father in this Portrait series book. Marc lives near Santa Barbara, CA.
