The Colorful Feeling of Me: A Fun Way To Learn About Chakras & The Loving Energy Flowing Through You!

First in the “Peace on Earth” series, this textbook-story-workbook is a resource full of teachings, terms and interactive tools to help you help your child learn about mindfulness, chakras and the energy aspect of their spiritual nature, and self-empowerment through their words. This book is intended to nurture self-esteem, inner peace, and compassion for self and others by weaving together spiritual, metaphysical, and philosophical teachings. The pages are filled with bright, gender-neutral graphics and activities that aim to help your child:

• See themselves from a higher place, through the eyes of Love / God / Consciousness / Source / The Universe and begin to have a sense of their place in creation
• Learn about the chakras and the subtle energy / life force that flows through them.
• Begin to feel the energy within them and learn how their thoughts can shift the way they feel

Delivered through a visiting group of stars, the teaching focuses on something all people have in common regardless of spiritual perspective, the 'rainbow body' or 'body of light', and the subtle energy or life force that lives and breathes as us. This life force energy is understood by many traditions and cultures and has many different names (qi/chi, ki, prana, universal or cosmic life force, spiritual energy), as does the source of this energy (God, Source, The Divine, Mother-Father, Consciousness, Light, Nature, Creator).

Full of fun ways for your child to engage with the ideas and practices presented, there is an assortment of super fun activity pages to solidify understanding such as: practice pages that guide experiential learning, places for expository coloring/drawing, and a 'make a mobile' project using images you can cut out from the back of the book!

For caregivers and children of all ages, this book bridges islands of consciousness through spiritually inclusive language to re-connect the heart and mind of the reader within themselves, with others, and with the HeartMind of God. Regardless of your personal approach, this uplifting book is a beautiful way to help all children see that their love & light is needed in the world!
