Colouring for Contemplation contains beautiful, meaningful themed artwork alongside accompanying quotations from some of the most inspirational thinkers around the world, providing an inner and outer coloring journey.
Pick up your pens and pencils and begin your journey … This beautiful coloring book has been created to help you to be mindful - to slow down and breathe and to give you the inspiration to live more fully in the present. Each illustration has been inspired by an accompanying quote to aid your contemplation of its message while you color. Divided into three parts, Mindfulness, Insight and Inspiration, this is a coloring journey. Each of the three parts contains quotes and simple, inspirational designs and ends with a meditation and a section with questions aimed at helping you reflect both on your handiwork and your inner journey. Dip in or work from beginning to end. Colouring for Contemplation is your calming companion.

About the Author
Amber Hatch is a writer, teacher and childminder. She studied for an English Literature degree in Southampton and holds an MA in Creative Writing. In 2015 she published a parenting book Nappy Free Baby, which was also illustrated by Alex. She has been practicing Buddhist meditation for six years, and regularly goes on retreat. Alex Ogg is a freelance illustrator, a musician, and a childminder. He studied Illustration at Southampton Institute. He discovered the joy of creating coloring pictures whilst working in the children’s department at Waterstones in 2008, where he secretly used to leave hand-drawn coloring pictures on the activity table. He discovered mindfulness not long after and he now meditates daily. He also loves to cook.

Terms of sale
Each book in the inventory is noted as bargain, rare or new. Following is a brief description of each of these categories:
Bargain – new, unread books, but may have a mark on the top or bottom edges that would indicate they are a publisher overstock. They may be missing the dust jacket or show some signs of shelf wear or slight damage (e.g. slight dent on corner). Otherwise they will be in clean, unread condition.
New – As published, no defects.
Rare / Out of Print – new, unread and may or may not have some small condition issues; however, they are out of print and will be difficult to find. A few books in the rare category have 2 different prices. The condition of the book will dictate this. For example, one may be a publisher’s overstock with a mark on the edge and one may be new.
It is appreciated that purchasing on-line requires considerabe trust on your part. We will gladly send you a complete description of the condition of the book along with pictures prior to your decision to purchase.
We accept returns, when initiated within 30 days of the estimated delivery date, for all reasons under AbeBooks' Return Policy. Refund amounts are based on the return reason. If the return reason cannot be determined, the minimum required refund amount is equal to the item price.
