About the Artist: Allison Leigh Thomson is a native of Sonoma County, Northern California where she resides with her husband and son. She works as a desktop publisher and teaches yoga. Allison enjoys travel, seeking out exotic foods, singing, reading, playing Scrabble, and creating art. She describes her style as "wabi-sabi," a Japanese concept which recognizes that beauty is most authentically expressed through the imperfection and uniqueness of objects and processes. In a world of sterile, computer-generated lines, she strives to offer the personal touch that comes from hand-drawn ink on paper.
