Colors of Courage: Paving a Path to Freedom

As a young girl, with a deep love for her family, Aliandra learned to survive the unthinkable. Whenever the stench of chaos and fear was closing in, she could slip away into the world of her vivid imagination. Only love and joy reigned, casting aside any trace of darkness. But, everyone grows up at some point. As she grew up, she desperately tried to capture her grip on the fantasy world, but access to this refuge started to fade away. Now, she faces the harsh realities of life, unprotected and vulnerable, alongside her little sisters, and their mother.

Each page raw and honest, this story is one of survival, the love of family, and the fragility and resilient strength of hope that carries them through to their final freedom. Part 1 of a heartbreaking yet powerful story, the author has left so many broken pieces of her family exposed in the hopes to remind readers that in dark times, there is a path to the light, and with that, courage comes in many colors.
