About this Item

COLT AN AMERICAN LEGEND SESQUICENTENNIAL EDITION R.L. WILSON 1986. I have recently acquired a number of books about guns and rifles and accordingly I am listing a group of them together to facilitate finding them by interested buyers. Here is another which I am sure will grab you when you see the photos. Please find: "Colt An American Legend Sesquicential Edition," by R.L. Wilson, with photographs by Sid Latham. This large and oblong hard cover book (11 ¼ x 8 ¾ inches, 406 pages) was published by Artabras Publishers of New York, dated 1986. The sub-title reads: "The Official History of Colt Firearms from 1836 to the Present (1986)." The book is very well illustrated with, as it notes on the title page, "Over 300 Illustrations in Full Color." The few photos of this listing will not do this book justice. Don t dilly-dally; this won t last long! Condition: This book is missing its dust jacket and so perhaps it won t surprise you to learn that the hard covers are a bit dust-dulled and perhaps even faded. The gilt titles on the spine, however, are still quite vivid and attractive. Inside, the book is unmarked and the pages and plates are clean and bright throughout. Both hinges are intact, and the binding is tight and sound. This book is not ex-library or a remainder. International Edition.
