1958. No Edition Remarks. 242 pages. Illustrated jacket, priced 21s net, over blue cloth with white lettering to spine. Includes double-page map and B&W photographic plates, all present as expected. Pages have slight foxing, tanning and thumbing. Slight gutter cracking. Binding firm. Foxing and tanning more noticeable towards start and end of book and on text block edges. Endpapers have strips of tanning caused by jacket. Subtle bubbling to rear pastedown. Text block edges slightly scratched. Boards have some moderate edge wear, with slight bumping to corners and minor bumping to spine ends. Boards a little rubbed and marked overall. Faint shadow of jacket design to boards; much more pronounced on spine. Spine ends intensely sunned. Book has moderate forward lean. Boards slightly bowed. Unclipped jacket has light edgewear with small tears, mild chips, and creasing. Jacket is a touch rubbed and marked overall, most notably to rear panel. Spine is slightly sunned.
