George Jean Nathan (1882 - 1958) was an American drama critic and magazine editor. He worked closely with H. L. Mencken, bringing the literary magazine The Smart Set to prominence as an editor, and co-founding and editing The American Mercury and The American Spectator. This copy is near fine in black cloth with gilt titles on the spine and front cover. Minor bumping at corners and spine ends, No other marks or damage. Unclipped DJ has tiny chips at the edges and shows slight soiling. Jacket spine is faded, but otherwise very good. .
