NO DUSTJACKET. 383 pages + 32 publisher's catalogue. B&W line illustrations as plates and within text. NO DUSTJACKET. Bottle-green hardback binding with impressed gilt-coloured titles and decoration to front board and spine No obvious date but looks mid-late 19th century and there is a handwritten date of 'Xmas 1871' to on of the preliminary pages, three of which are detached. Front inner hinge is split but apart from the 3 detached pages, the binding is sound. Page-edges lightly browned and foxed as are very earliest and latest pages o/w pages are clean and tidy.
