pub.[c.1867]? With 10 hand-coloured engravings on steel by John Leech, and numerous wood engravings to the text. 8vo. Publisher's dark green decorative cloth, gilt embossed to front panel & spine, a.e.g., a little rubbed and edge-worn to the extremities, lacking the front endpaper, hinges are a little weak, a couple of bookplates to the front paste-down of Hugh Coleridge Kennard, and R. M. Gotch as well as a contemporary ink inscription above the preface, text is generally clean and the plates bright and all accounted for, a very respectable copy of this Victorian classic. xii, 308pp.
