He currently serves as Vice President and Chief DiversityOfficer at Greenville University in Greenville, IL. He previously served as Assistant Professor and Director of Contextualized Learning forCentral Baptist Seminary in Shawnee, KS. He is also pastor of WebsterGroves Baptist Church in St. Louis, MO. In addition to his work inhigher education and law enforcement, Dr. Carter previously served asexecutive director of two nonprofit social service organizations in St.Louis.
