This is the 1821 printing, NOT a modern reprint. Bound in full calf with a maroon spine title label. Light wear to the binding. No slope, no twist, no distortion from reading or improper shelving. Pages are tight and clean with no marks. There is foxing. No broken hinges. Names in old hands on the front flyleaf and pastedown. No odor. A few faint and old tide lines from water stains. No soiling. No sun fading.
