Fair; rubbing/bumping/fraying to extremities; much soil and wear to covers and spine, especially to the top edge; a little shaken; hinges starting; foxing, heavy in places, to most pages; soil/stains to yapped edges, extending to edge of page surfaces a little in places. Pages are all there, all firmly attached, and all unmarked except for a small notation on the front pastedown. Bound in vellum or a vellum-like paper, spine covered in marbled paper with a vellum label for the title. 17x10 inches; 396 pp, with duplicate copies of leaves 149-150 and 155-156. A few pages have incorrect page numbers, but the catchwords show that the pages are in the correct order.
