Il fut un théologien très renommmé, ses commentaires concernent essentiellement les saintes Ecritures, et on en fit de nombreuses éditions.Cette édition est une réimpression de l'édition de Tournemire parue en 1729, in folio. Beige morocco title label and green morocco volume label. Scuffing and scratches to boards. The blind stamps of a congregation on the boards of the first volume have been filled with leather. Giovanni Stefano Menochio was an Italian Jesuit priest of the 17th century, who died in 1655 in Rome. He was a highly renowned theologian, his commentaries concerned essentially the Holy Scriptures, and numerous editions were made of them.
