Hardback, 8.5 x 6 inches. In full calf leather binding, polished panels to boards, raised banding to spine with maroon leather spine label lettered in gilt. Plain endpapers. Red speckled page edges. In very good condition. Cover heavily rubbed, edges and corners bumped and chipped. Chip to top end of spine, rear hinge cracked. Bookplates to endpapers ?Christopher Tower Esq.? Inside pages all very clean and tight throughout. Small tear to corner of p679. Else a very good clean and tight copy. 675pp.

Books can be returned within 14 days upon receipt (please let us straight away).
If the book was wrongly described, we will refund your return postage. If you
just changed your mind, we would you expect you to refund our postage to you. We
try to give as careful a description as possible, but we do not mention private
library labels or inscriptions, slight foxing, or very minor other faults -
unless these seriously affect the value of the book.
