Volume 1-2. This is an ex-library book and may have the usual library/used-book markings inside.This book has hardback covers. In poor condition, suitable as a reading copy. No dust jacket. Two volumes. 8vo. Black cloth with engraved design to front and rear and gilt titles to spine. Vol. 1 has heavy external wear and its spine is reinforced with clear tape with visible tears to its front and rear edges. Vol. 2 is in better condition with only moderate external wear but the top of its spine is also torn and taped. Internally vol. 1 has split hinges and its binding is starting but its text block remains sound and its pages are clean. Vol. 2 binding is secure and its pages are clean.
