21 by 17 cms. 616 pp. contemporary calf with some blind stamped tooling to front and rear boards. these have been professionally restored to a new calf binding, six panelled spine with raised bands, gilt ruling and gilt floral devices, new spine title and gilt date to spine lower extremity, internally, very tight and clean, there is old ink annotation to the rear endpapers but nowhere else. A restored but attractive copy. The author was famous for his commentaries on the Old Testament. Scarce. Seller Inventory # 12010
