In this new political commentary, author Grant Rees discusses the many dangers confronting the American republic, including alternative voting methods and procedures, use of harmful and addictive drugs, mounting national debt, national defense and military preparedness, and the release of classified information among other topics. Rees and others like him are tired of the same old political rhetoric with little progress. This frustration is compounded by the fact that the political season is getting longer and more expensive. Rees has been documenting his thoughts for several years, have written letters to editors and numerous elected representatives. Grant Rees was raised in Reno, Nevada. He graduated from Reno High School, the US Naval Academy, the US Naval Postgraduate School, and American University. He and his wife have raised two sons. He has resided in Nevada, California, Oregon, Maryland, Idaho, and, most recently, Utah.
